How long we keep your data

Each kind of record, how long it is kept, and why. This page is generated from the same schedule the system uses to delete records, so it is always what actually happens.

Records of what staff did

  • 1 yearRecords of who approved a sensitive action are kept for 12 months, then archived for the remainder of the legal retention period.
  • 1 yearDaily limits on staff actions are kept for 12 months, then archived for the remainder of the legal retention period.
  • 1 yearRecords of sign-ins and other security events are kept for 12 months, then archived for the remainder of the legal retention period.
  • 7 yearsWhen a ticket limit was checked and what it decided is kept for seven years. Blocked attempts are the evidence behind a bot-buying referral.
  • 7 yearsEvery decision to release accessible seating for general sale, who approved it, and what they observed, is kept for seven years. This is a civil-rights record and it is never quietly deleted.
  • 1 yearRecords of bulk messages the team sent are kept for 12 months, then archived.
  • 1 yearA record of each step taken to claim a season-ticket account is kept for a year, then deleted.
  • 1 yearThe confirmations behind a transfer are kept for a year, then deleted.

What you agreed to receive

  • 4 yearsYour account is kept while you use it, and for four years after your last activity. After that it is anonymised: the record that a ticket was sold survives, the person does not.
  • 4 yearsYour email addresses and phone numbers are kept alongside the account they belong to.
  • 4 yearsPasskeys are kept while the account is active. Deleting one removes the public key; it does not affect the record of what that passkey was used to do.
  • 4 yearsAuthenticator-app secrets are kept while the account is active and are destroyed when you remove the authenticator.
  • 4 yearsThe message templates we send from are kept for as long as the team sells with us, plus four years.
  • 4 yearsYour notification preferences are kept while you have an account with the team, plus four years.
  • 4 yearsA record of what you agreed to, and the exact wording you were shown, is kept for four years as evidence of your consent.
  • 4 yearsText messages and emails you send us are kept for four years as evidence of what you asked for.

Purchases, payments and agreements

  • 7 yearsA game is kept for seven years after it is played. It is the record behind every ticket sold for it, and tax and chargeback rules require us to be able to produce it.
  • 7 yearsWhen seats were put on hold together — in a cart, as a comp, or as a production block — that grouping is kept for seven years alongside the holds themselves.
  • 7 yearsThe record of who held or bought each seat is kept for seven years. It is what lets us answer a chargeback, a refund request, or a question about who was sitting where.
  • 7 yearsA team's price sheet is kept for seven years, because it is the answer to why a ticket cost what it cost.
  • 7 yearsThe price set for each seating tier is kept for seven years, for the same reason as the price sheet it belongs to.
  • 7 yearsEvery change to a price, and the window it applied in, is kept for seven years. This is the record that answers "why was I charged this?".
